The Delta Emergency Management Mapbook is a unique blend of GIS, cartography, scripting, planning and graphic design. The book includes varying scale maps that cover the entire California Delta. The maps and information provided assist first responders in flood scenarios. One unique element of the map spread is that the information provided on the left side of the spread corresponds directly to the information shown on map page. This project won the California Emergency Services Association (CESA) Coastal Chapter Silver Award for Emergency Management Preparedness in 2012.
